DALLAS, TX–Mexico finished atop Group A of the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup with a 1-0 win over El Salvador at the Cotton Bowl. Luis Rodriguez got the only goal in the encounter. Mexico will face the second place team in Group D in the quarterfinals in Glendale, AZ, on Saturday. El Salvador will face the Group D winner earlier that day.
