Mexico 0-2 USA
ARLINGTON, TX–For the tenth time since 2000, the scoreline was “Dos a Cero” in favor of the USA over Mexico. This time, it was in the Concacaf Nations League Final at AT&T Stadium which the US Men’s National Team has now won for a third time in three attempts. Mexico continues to look for its first win over the USA on the men’s side since 2019.
The performance by the USA was a stark departure from the one that barely saw it past Jamaica in the semifinal. Making his first start for the USA in 475 days after a pair of surgeries on his hamstring that had force him to miss over a year on the pitch, Tyler Adams scored from 30 yards out just before halftime to put the USA ahead. Gio Reyna added a second in the 63rd minute who scored on the volley of a failed clearance.

The match was stopped a couple times near the end by referee Drew Fischer after fans uttered a homophobic chant after keeper Matt Turner took goal kicks. However, it would not stop the USA from claiming a third Nations League title and give the team momentum into Copa America.
In the third place match, Jamaica defeated Panama, 1-0.
