Colorado Rapids 0-Houston Dynamo 0

When a club is struggling to get points and stay in the playoff race they will take points wherever they can get them. Although three points would have be nice the Colorado Rapids (4-11-4, 16 points) will likely take the 0-0 draw they earned against the Houston Dynamo (7-6-5, 26 points) on Saturday night at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.

The match didn’t exactly play like a 0-0 draw with the two sides combining for 18 shots, six of which were on target. But their respective defenses kept the attacking chances at a distance, with goalkeepers Tim Howard of the Rapids (two saves) and Joe Willis of the Dynamo (three saves) keeping everything else out of the net.

On hand to cover the match was Prost Amerika photographer Corbin Elliott. You can check out some of his shots from the match below and his full gallery from the Rapids season on SmugMug.
