FC Dallas 2-0 Houston Dynamo

FRISCO, TX–FC Dallas got back to winning ways with a 2-0 win over Houston Dynamo in a Texas Derby and ended a seven-match winless streak. FC Dallas would have a man advantage just five minutes into the match after Griffin Dorsey denied Marco Farfan a clear goal scoring opportunity and was sent off. FCD almost got an instant reward as Asier Illarramendi struck the ensuring free kick off the post.

FCD would make their man advantage count on 55 minutes as Ewa Twumasi send a thru-ball to Peter Musa who beat Steve Clark far post. Sebastien Ibehaga would double Dallas’s lead ten minutes from time heading in a diagonal ball from Sam Junqua.

The Dynamo have lost their third match in their last four and fall to eighth in the Western Conference table.

FC Dallas next play Toronto FC at BMO Field next Saturday at 6:30pm CT on Apple TV as part of the MLS Season Pass.
