FC Dallas 2-1 Vancouver Whitecaps

FRISCO, TX–FC Dallas overcame a bad moment in defense and got two goals from Jesus Ferreira to defeat Vancouver Whitecaps, 2-1, at Toyota Stadium. FC Dallas went behind in the 23rd minute after Maarten Paes sent a pass that went straight to Pedro Vite who scored first-touch into an empty net to give the Whitecaps the lead.

However, Jesus can’t stop scoring for FC Dallas and he would bag a couple. The first came in the 37th minute after picking up a ball in the area from Jader Obrian and scoring past Yohei Takaoka.

The second goal in the 54th minute came when Vancouver’s attempt to play it out of the back went wrong as Ranko Veselinovic was picked off by Tsiki Nstabeleng who would feed Ferreira for what turned out to be the match winner.
