FRISCO, TX–FC Dallas returned to winning ways and remained third in the Western Conference after comfortably dismissing San Jose Earthquakes, 4-1, at Toyota Stadium. Jesus Ferreira netted twice for the Red Hoops while Marco Farfan and Alan Velasco each added a tally of their own. Jeremy Ebobisse pulled one back for the Quakes at the hour mark. Both Ebobisse and Ferreira are now tied for third in the Golden Boot race with 14 behind Austin FC’s Sebsatian Driussi (17), and FC Cincinnati’s Brandon Vazquez (15).
