Last Saturday’s match between the Seattle Reign FC and Sky Blue FC came down to a second half goal by Jodie Taylor, which gave the Reign a 2-1 victory; their first three points of the season.

The most notable event of the match happened in stoppage, when Seattle keeper Michelle Betos went out with a season ending ankle injury. This led Reign FC’s head coach, Vlatko Andonovski, to call on midfielder Morgan Andrews to step in at goal. Luckily for Andrews, there were no shots on target and she was able to catch the ball off a deflection to end her three minutes as a keeper.
