Just about a year out from its debut in NWSL, Angel City FC had the first opportunity to personally connect with soccer fans in Southern California.
On Saturday, May 15th, Angel City hosted a block party that stretched out across three different locations across Los Angeles. It started in the morning at the famous Boardwalk in Venice Beach, then shifted to the Oakwood Recreational Center, also in Venice before finishing at the Mariachi Plaza on 1st Street in Los Angeles. Among the events that took place were the handing out of exclusive Angel City FC merchandise, a mural painting on the boardwalk, a pickup soccer match and teqball, a DJ and nd various musical performances.
