Houston cannot find a way to get a win and now they are in a 15-game streak without winning.

On Saturday night, Minnesota United was the one that beat the Dynamo, by the final score of 2-1. Despite being down on the scoreboard after a minute of play, the Loons were able to come back and get three important points to remain in a playoff spot with 31 points in the West.

On the other hand, Dynamo remains in the last place in the Western Conference, and are the third worst team in MLS with only 19 points.

The match started well for Houston as Adalberto ‘Coco’ Carrasquilla found an early goal for the Orange after a great attack led by ‘Fafa’ Picault and ‘Coco’ himself. After that, the match was very level. Both sides had some chances to score, but it was Adrien Hunou that got the equalizer at the 16th.

Dynamo, who was without its coach Tab Ramos due to family/health issues, tried to get another goal to finally get a win but they were not effective in the last third.

The Orange controlled the midfield on the first half, but they lost such control in the second. That is where Minnesota started to play better and were able to find more chances in offense. Moreover, the Looms where the ones that found the goal at the 73th. The man of the match Hunou beat goalkeeper Michael Nelson for the final 2-1.

Fans keep protesting to the home team’s front office and have been demanding GM Matt Jordan to be fired since he has been with the club for 7 seasons and the team have only made the playoff one. Attendance at matches is getting low by the match. This just to adds to the deep crisis the Space City team is facing.

Houston will try to get a much needed win against the Portland Timbers on Friday, September 3rd. The Loons will have a week off before visiting Seattle to face the Sounders on September 11th.
