San Jose Earthquakes 4- Chicago Fire 1

It took a bit of time but Chris Wondolowski made the wait worth while. On Saturday the Earthquakes target man became Major League Soccer’s all-time leading goalscorer, scoring four times in the Earthquakes 4-1 win on Saturday.

Wondolowski scored in the 21st, 48th, 74th, and 76th minutes. His goal in the 48th minute pushed him past former teammate Landon Donovan for the all-time lead. What’s interesting to note is that these were his first four goals of the season and Saturday’s start was his first in a month and a half. Aleksandar Katai scored the lone goal for the Fire in the 83rd minute.

On hand to cover the match was photographer Daniel Burkhead. Please enjoy his photos from the match below.
