On Wednesday night FC Dallas held off Pachuca by the score of 2-1 in the first leg of their CONCACAF Champions League Semifinals series. Although Pachuca took the lead very early in the match thanks to a goal by Franco Jara, the Hoops stayed in the match capitalizing on chances when they were available. Maximiliano Urruti equalized for the home side and Kelyn Acosta gave them the lead thanks to a scintillating free kick chance in the 58th minute. The question is now can Dallas hold their own against the defending Clausura champions on the road with Jara’s early goal still hanging over them.
