FC Dallas 1-1 Columbus Crew

FRISCO, TX–FC Dallas kept above the playoff win for another night after playing Columbus Crew to a 1-1 draw. FCD remain in ninth–one point above a resurgent Sporting Kansas City with two matches in hand. Columbus miss out on a chance to go second in the East and stay one point adrift of Orlando and are level with three other teams on 49 points having the most wins among the four and superior goal difference.

Columbus went ahead in the 24th minute after Nkosi Tafari accidentally knocked in a cross from Diego Rossi. However, FC Dallas would equalize in the 43rd minute after Jader Obrian headed in a cross from Jesus Ferreira. Cucho Hernandez had a couple chances to get a go-ahead goal, but was not able to including striking one off the post in the 66th minute.
