Everything is set in Houston for the CONCACAF Champions League clash between the Dynamo and Guastatoya

After winning in Guatemala City 1-0, the Houston Dynamo will face off against Guatemalan Champion Guastatoy on Tuesday night the CONCACAF Champions League Second Leg 

The Guatemalan team arrived in Houston on Sunday night and practiced Monday night at BBVA Compass Stadium.

Guastatoya coach, Marvin Amarini Villatoro told the media during a press conference that “the team is coming to Houston with the mentality of winning the match. Therefore, they will have a very similar squad as the one they used in the first match”. Also, he mentioned that “this match is a great opportunity for players to be exposed to the international stage and gain experience for future tournaments.”

On the other hand, the Houston Dynamo is ready to face this match and finish the series at home. The only player who is doubtful to played is Juan David Cabezas who left the first game with a leg injury. Other than that, the Orange knows the team needs to step up and advanced to he quarterfinals. DaMarcus Beasley mentioned, “The team has been preparing for three tournaments and we want to win them all”.  

The match should be an exciting one. Both teams must show concentration and order in every sector of the field, and a goal might change everything. It is certain that both squads want to make history and face in the next round the winner between Saprissa and Tigres in Quarterfinals.
