Preview: Charlotte FC vs. FC Cincinnati

0

Following a 2-0 victory over Columbus Crew FC that extended Charlotte’s home unbeaten streak to 11, Charlotte is hosting FC Cincinnati.

Cincinnati currently sits at the top of the Eastern Conference, unbeaten so far this season with 11 points, although Charlotte does seem to match up well with them. While Cincinnati generates more chances in their attack than Charlotte does, the expected goals does not reflect that. That along with Charlotte having a strong defense and the advantage Charlotte has by playing at home should bode well for them.

Charlotte FC will also have Enzo Copetti and Brandt Bronico available for selection for the match. Copetti has missed the past couple matches with an injury, while Bronico has not yet made an appearance for Charlotte due to injury.

Along with Copetti and Bronico being available this week, Charlotte’s club record signing is expected to make his debut after playing with the Israeli National Team over the past couple weeks.

The match is set to kickoff at 7:30 p.m. EST at Bank of America Stadium and will be streaming on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
