Portland Timbers defender Juan David Mosquera and midfielder Santiago Moreno have been called up by the Colombian National Team for January training camp.

Mosquera was called into Colombia’s training camp back in October 2022, still the man has yet to earn his first senior cap. The 20-year old defender made his MLS debut for the Portland Timbers back in September 18, 2022, and playing a full 90 minutes in each of Portland final two matches.

Moreno made his senior international debut for Colombia in a friendly match against Paraguay on November 19, 2022. In his second season with the Timbers the 22 year old attacker was one of to players to appear in every match for Portland with (34) and finishing with (7 goals and 8 assists) last season.

Same as Eryk Williamson both Mosquera and Moreno after the scheduled friendly against SKC, both players will join La Cafetera (The Coffee Growers) in Barranquilla, Colombia from January 21-23. La Tricolor will travel to Carson, California to face off against the U.S. National team in a friendly match on January 28, 2023.
