Many questions arise after today’s result between heavily favored Argentina defeating Croatia by a convincing 3-0 score. Can surprising Morocco, who have made all sorts of history already at the World Cup make more history?

Are they motivated enough to defeat the French National Team and stage an upset over Les Bleus? Are the Atlas Lions ready to make one of their greatest feats in their participation in the grand fete of football?

There’s one way to find out and tomorrow will see if they can take it to the next level. Imagine a final between them and Argentina. What a dream final!

One of Morocco’s team AC Wadid from Casablanca places three players and Saudi teams such Al Ittihad and Al Wedha and Qatar SC are also represented, while the remaining Atlas Lions are placed at various European clubs.

How did the Moroccans come into these stages, after all seeded in Group F with Canada, Croatia and Belgium? They finished a whooping first with seven points after defeating the Red Devils of Belgium 2-0 and Canada by 2-1 and tying with second place Croatia.

Still, this wasn’t it for the Atlas Lions facing in the round of 16 against heavily favored Spain. They defeated them on the infamous penalty kicks by the score of 3-0 and Sevilla goalie Yassine Bounou rising to the occasion.

Again, in the quarterfinals, Morocco stages a defensive gem on the Portuguese as well a goal by Youssef En- Nesyri in the 42nd minute became the highlight as they advanced to the semifinals for the first time.

So far, in this World Cup for manager Walid Regragui, it’s been a fairy tale or the man simply doesn’t want to be awaken from this long dream and within 90 minutes of playing into their first World Cup final. What can you ask for a man with a good deal of trophies under his arm and now looking to further his achievements with the National Team?

A man that in the entirety of the World Cup has played with a 4-3-3 formation, putting a defensive shield of Hakimi, Aguerd, Saiss, and Mazraoui to defend the arches of superstar keeper Bounou.

In the midifield, with three top class midfielders Ounahi, Amrabat and Sabiri, who come from Italian Calcio and Ounahi from Ligue 1 side Angers, make up a very harmonious and well-organized midfield.

Last, with their men on the outside from Premiership Chelsea’s Ziyech and Boufal from Ligue 1’s Angers complement the frontal attack with Sevilla’s En-Nesyri that in this event these have become the fear of many opposing defenses.

La chance et le destin peuvent-ils être du côté du Maroc, il y a un moyen de le savoir Mercredi ?
