TUKWILA, WA–Tacoma Defiance extended their unbeaten run to four matches with a 2-o win over Real Monarchs SLC in MLS NEXT Pro action Sunday at StarFire Sports Complex. Reed Baker-Whiting opened the scoring in the fourth minute. Marlon Vargas doubled the lead in the 54th for Tacoma who move to fourth in the Western Conference table while the Monarchs are rooted to the bottom of the West at 0-5-2.
