Portland Timbers Stoppage Time Win over LAFC

Portland Timbers earned a a victory over LAFC in the last minute of stoppage time, 90+3, when Timbers forward Felipe Mora headed in a cross by José Van Rankin. The Portland Timbers opened the score in the second minute with a goal by Diego Valeri, his 100 goal for the Portland Timbers in all competition. LAFC was able to tie the match with a goal from Carlos Vela in the 21st minute, assisted by Diego Rossi.  The match was disputed at Providence Park, home of the Portland Timbers, on the evening of July 21st.
