New England climbed to the top of the Eastern Conference with a 3-1 win over New York Red Bulls on Saturday night. The Red Bulls went ahead first after Andres Reyes headed in a corner in the seventh minute. However, two minutes after Gustavo Bou equalized for the Revolution, Reyes would receive his marching orders after picking up a second yellow card.

Just before halftime, Tajon Buchanan put the Revolution ahead scoring from an acute angle. Adam Buksa put the icing on the cake in the 82nd minute to complete the scoring.
