Two goals from Stavros Zarokostas, including a late game-winner, gave the Charleston Battery a 2-1 victory against the Tampa Bay Rowdies at Al Lang Stadium on Saturday night. Forest Lasso scored the Rowdies’ goal on the night.
The loss ends the Rowdies’ chances at becoming the top seed in the Eastern Conference of the 2020 USL Championship Playoffs. That honor goes to Louisville City FC while Reno 1868 FC claims the top seed in the West.
