Portland Timbers midfielders Renzo Zambrano and Cristhian Paredes have been called up by their respective national teams for upcoming international friendlies.
Cristhian Paredes will be on his fifth appearance with the Paraguayan National Team.
The White and Red will be playing a couple of friendlies against Serbia on October 10 and Slovakia on October 13.
For the Paraguayan National Team will face off against Serbia at Stadion Blajog Istatov in Strunica, Republic of Macedonia on Thursday October 10 at 11:45 PM (PST).
The second friendly for the Paraguayan National Team will be on Sunday, October 13 at 11:45 AM (PST) against Slovakia at National Football Stadium in Bratislava, Slovakia.
For Renzo Zambrano going for his fifth cap with la Vinotinto or Venezuelan National Team, his team will play a couple of friendlies against Bolivia and Trinidad Tobago.
For la Vinotinto (red wine), as Venezuela, will play two friendlies, their first one against Bolivia at Estadio Olimpico de la UCV in the capitol of Caracas, on Thursday, October 10 at 3:00 PM (PST).
On Monday, October 14, Venezuela will face off Trinidad and Tobago also at Estadio Olimpico de la UCV in Caracas, Venezuela at 3:00 PM (PST).
Furthermore, for Portland Timbers assistant coach Miles Joseph to join the U.S. U-23 Men’s National Team for a training camp from October 6-13 at Florida International University in Miami, Florida.
As the U-23 National Team prepare for a friendly match on Tuesday, October 15 against El Salvador.
Cristhian Paredes, Renzo Zambrano and coach Miles Joseph will join the team before their first round 2019 MLS Cup playoffs against Real Salt Lake at Rio Tinto Stadium on Saturday, October 19.
