Chester, PA

In the shadow of Auston Trusty’s absence, induced by a second yellow card in last week’s game against the Galaxy, the Philadelphia Union held onto the three goal clean sheet on Saturday afternoon against the Montreal Impact.  Cory Burke scored first, followed by a penalty kick by Jamiro Monteiro and a third goal by Alejandro Bedoya.  Unfortunately, VAR “corrected” a yellow card to a red card against Kai Wagner, and the Union with be without the talented left back in the next game against Vancouver.
