Chicago Fire 2 -Portland Timbers 2

There are very few constants in Major League Soccer these days but there is still one thing that we can all still count on: A Chicago Fire-Portland Timbers match ending in a draw. On Saturday night at Toyota Park the two sides combined for another action-packed, but ultimately inconclusive finish: a 2-2 draw.

Portland’s goals were scored by Diego Valeri (6′) and Sebastian Blanco (55′). Meanwhile for the Fire Nemanja Nikolic (50′) and Brandon Vincent (54′) would both find the back of the net.

You can check out Rusty Sliber and Fern McOistigan’s takes on the match here and here. In the meantime please enjoy some of our photos from the match courtesy of Don MacGregor (you can see all of his photos of the Chicago Fire on SmugMug).
