Toronto, ON-Three wins, nine points. Not too shabby for the boys in red. After a difficult start to their 2017 campaign Toronto FC have come roaring back thanks to three consecutive home victories at BMO Field. On Wednesday night in front of 25,200 supporters Greg Vanney’s side placed an exclamation point before they hit the road next week with a 2-1 win over Orlando City SC.

Sebastian Giovinco scored twice for TFC. Orlando City’s Kaka pulled the Purple Lions closer to getting a result with a goal near stoppage at the end of the first half. But the TFC defense held, giving them a hard earned three points ahead of a MLS Cup re-match against the Seattle Sounders next week.
