Portland Timbers Briefly

What’s the matter with this team? The way the Portland Timbers are playing lately it certainly looks like they aren’t playing without any conviction or winning spirit!

It is time to clean house as some players aren’t giving their best efforts in the field and despite the way the front office of this team is doing the unthinkable of building a contender.

Many questions linger by the way the Timbers are playing lately.

Among other things, the Rose City side is not a strong team playing on the road Second, will they become the first win for Colorado at home? I don’t have any doubts of this team the way is playing lately.

A team is made of eleven players in the field and not one or two or three. Diego Chara is not Superman. Same goes to Evander and Cristhian Paredes. Teamwork is imperative for the success of any team.

This team needs to regroup, refocus, and most of all look for ways to get back in the winning column and display more ambition and courage in the field. In addition of what I always been speaking of. the need to keep  yellow cards to a minimum.

Colorado Rapids Briefly

Manager Robin Frasier never envisioned how this 2023 season would turn out for his Rapids, currently in the Western Division cellar, after losing against a streaking St. Louis City SC side.

As the man in his fifth season with Colorado, after his team defeat in the Midwest, the man is not happy how his team is faring in the clutch as his team is not precise in key moments.

A team being unsuccessful at home, tells you a lot of this team troubles and not being able to become a strong team when they play at home. Still, this team’s injuries are taking its toll on this team and results are very evident.

With a not so positive record of 0-4-5 at home, the Rapids aren’t playing a tough and strong game of football, so far, they have managed two wins and these on the road.

If this team needs help, you are right as this season all the sides have been arming up and playing like there’s no tomorrow. Will this team bounce back and make it to the postseason, as this season is one competed one?
