David Ousted 7.5
Great game for Ousted, didn’t have to make any huge saves but was always in the right spot at the right time.

Fraser Aird 7.0
Started the game off with quick pace down the sidelines and quality crosses into the box. Was caught flat footed on the Timbers goal but was solid down the stretch to help his team hold on for victory.

Kendall Waston 7.0
Picked up a sloppy yellow card early in the game but was able to maintain his physical play for remainder of game. Was very physical in the box on corners and had two good headers that made the Timbers goalkeeper have to make a good save.

Tim Parker 6.5
Was caught on the first Timbers goal with his back to Borchers. Other than that a very average game for Parker.

Jordan Harvey 7.0
Tied for touches by defenders with Fraser Aird and overall had a decent game. Wasn’t caught out of position and was very sound defensively.

Morales picks up a yellow card

Pedro Morales 7.0
Lead the team with 87 touches and 63 completed passes. Struggles time to time in the defensive midfield position he started. Needs to get more involved in the attack down the wing when he starts next to Laba.

Matias Laba 8.0
Team high 7 tackles for Laba and completed 93.8% of his passes. It was game wear for most of it Laba wasn’t that noticeable but got the job done,

Christian Bolanos 8.0
3rd goal in 3 games for Bolanos, was all over the pitch and had great chances all game long. Lead the team with 5 shots and was very creative with the ball.

Nicolas Mezquida 7.5
Great start to the game for Mezquida, had two great chances in the opening 10 minutes. Was only at 72.7% on passes but he had some quality passes to give his teammates chances.

Cristian Techera 6.5
Was very strong getting down the pitch off Timbers turnovers. Was the team leader with 5 chances created this game. Disappeared at the end of the first half and wasn’t as effective in the second half.

Kudo beats Gleeson to the near corner.

Masato Kudo 8.5
Scored his first MLS goal and added an assist on the game winning goal. It was a quality goal that not many Whitecaps players would have scored on. Still needs to get more physical in the box on corners and crosses sent in to him.

Subs:

Perez with a chance off a Rivero pass.

Blas Perez 7.5
The super substitute is at it again, came on the pitch and made an impact with his effort on the Bolanos goal. Was very physical with the tired Timbers defenders.

Octavio Rivero 7.0
Came on and had a decent run coming off the bench. He was still recovering from his knock last week. Wouldn’t be surprised if he came off the pitch again Wednesday versus Chicago Fire

Hurtado with a great chance but stopped by Gleeson.

Erik Hurtado 7.0
