Match Report: Cascadia win nine goal thriller

After their 6-3 win over the Chagos Islands, we got the views of coach James Nichols, new captain Patrick Wilson, and the two most capped players Charlie Gregory and Max Oldham and a third returning ‘veteran’ Tayshan Hayden-Smith.

The coach was happy but noted the concession of three goals in a match where they were the better side.

Wilson was happy at how the new players had been integrated to the squad.

Wilson and Gregory were keen to have more Cascadia games as soon as possible, and the others talked of how happy they were to reunite in the Cascadian squad – and laughed at a stupid question about hairdos, which we tactfully didn’t ask Nichols.
