NWSL Regular Season
Cheney Stadium – Tacoma, WA

In the first meeting in Tacoma between the two NWSL Cascadia rivals, Reign FC netted a Rosie White goal and kept a clean sheet on the way to three important points.

World Cup reinforcements have mostly found their way back on to the field, although Reign FC was still without Megan Rapinoe for a match up she had previously targeted as her potential return match.

The post world cup attendance surge has continued, although it is hard to imagine this match not filling Cheney Stadium regardless given the match up, Portland’s travel, and the Summer date.

Portland remains above Reign FC in the standings, but the three points for the home side could be the difference between them making the post-season or not as the season winds down.
