Radio MLS, Episode 5 Part One: The house that David Villa built

0

Welcome back to another edition of Radio MLS here on Prost Amerika!

In part one of our two-part podcast this week, host Sean Maslin (beat writer for D.C. United) is joined once again Brian O’Connell (co-editor/founder New England Soccer Today, beat writer for the New England Revolution at New England Soccer Today and ESPN Boston) and Matt Hoffman (beat writer for the Portland Timbers at Prost Amerika, professional Chivas USA ombudsman).

It was a busy week second week of the season our panel looked at all of the highs and the lows of this week’s action including Brian’s first-hand observations about Yankee Stadium at NYCFC’s first-ever home match, the slow start of the New England Revolution, and the play of The Kid, David Villa.

The gang go deeper into Week Two action while Brian and Sean try to console Matt over the Timbers dropping two points late to the Los Angeles Galaxy. The podcast ends with a dissection of the Philadelphia Union-Real Salt Lake match where all logic and reason was apparently thrown out the door.

Oh, and did we mention that we have a trivia question for you? Listen to today’s show and write your answers either below or send them to Matt Hoffman on Twitter. The winner will receive a prize to be determined. Most likely words of encouragement.

Have a question? Please feel free to send them below or to Sean Maslin on Twitter. You can also reach Brian O’ Connell on the same glorious webpage if you want to talk more about his experiences at Yankee Stadium.
