Radio MLS Episode 11: Cards for some, tiny Canadian flags for others

0

In this week’s edition of Radio MLS, Sean Maslin (co-beat writer for Prost Amerika’s D.C. United coverage and feature MLS writer for BackPage Football) and Matt Hoffman (Portland Timbers beat writer for Prost, Chivas USA ombudsman, and veteran coffeemaker) discuss the best bars and restaurants in Portland, Oregon and dabble into MLS action.

The dynamic duo discuss the week’s action including a gripping first leg in the CONCACAF Champions League final between the Montreal Impact and Club America. They look at the highs, lows, and the controversy surrounding a little match in Mexico. And they do so without even using a single solitary laser pointer.

This week also featured a ton of cards, with teams all across the league being booked by the men in yellow. What are the causes for this? Matt and Sean investigate.
