Portland Timbers midfielders Evander and Cristhian Paredes on Matchday Team of Week 10

Evander and Cristhian Paredes made it into the Team of the Matchday for Matchday 10 after being very vocal in the Portland Timbers’ victory over previously undefeated at home St. Louis City SC at City Park.

As the 10 million dollar Brazilian suddenly is finding his way per MLS.com reports, he is becoming more involved in the Timbers’ attack. Evander converted his second goal of the season by converting a penalty to give the Rose City side a 1-0 in the 63rd minute.

For the man coming from Danish top-flight side FC Midtjylland last December, Evander is finally looking to find his game in the last two matches after making a number of would-be goal plays against FC Cincinnati.

Despite being on the bench, Cristhian Paredes is an important piece of the Portland Timbers defending as well attacking, as the native from Paraguay now back from the IL. The man is contributing enormities in the field in the club sudden revival.
