Portland Timbers Midfielder Santiago Moreno on Matchday Team of the Week

Despite being on the Bench for Team of the Matchday 34, Santiago Moreno’s second goal of the season paved the way for the Portland Timbers to earn a well fought win over cellar-stricken Colorado Rapids.

With Matchday 34 in the books, the Rose City side continued with their perfect run under the Miles Joseph era as the man has injected a new form of enthusiasm and playing with a lot of hunger.

Santiago Moreno scored the second goal of the match in the 30th minute of the first half to extend the lead and looking to cruise to an easy win over lowly and troubled Rapids squad.

All of a sudden, the Portland side has transformed into a new contender and looking very strong with three games left in the 2023 campaign as for Santiago Moreno the lad is playing with all around heart and being vocal in the offensive attack.
