Portland Timbers midfielder Evander on Matchday Team of the Week

Portland Timbers’ lone goal scorer Evander was featured on the bench for Major League Soccer’s Team of the Matchday 21.

With a 1-1 draw against NYCFC, Evander sent a shot outside the area to put the Timbers ahead in the 38th minute thanks to an assist from Marvin Loria and Cristhian Paredes.

Despite the match ending with one goal each side in the end, the Carioca is delivering in every match his best efforts and proof is shown with his one-of-a-kind goal and tying Franck Boli for the team lead in goals scored.
