Portland Timbers midfielder Evander on Matchday Team of the Week

Evander’s game tying golazo was enough for him to be featured on MLS Team of the Matchday for Matchday 30 and rescuing a point against their I-5 foes the Seattle Sounders.

So far for Evander he’s no stranger to the Team of the Matchday after being named three times in weeks (10,12 and 30) and becoming the team leader in goals scored with his seventh goal of the season.

The man delivered with a beauty of a shot tying the game in the 70th minute and leave Lumen Field with a 2-2 draw and extending Portland’s streak to six consecutive games without losing against the Rave Greens.
