This is a by week for the Portland timbers. With no games to travel this weekend to host or travel to, the club is engaged on their classic Stand Together Week. A week where the club joins in numerous volunteer opportunities accross 35 volunteer projects, benefiting more than 30 organizations focused on youth and the environment across the Portland metro area. Fans are invited to volunteer with their favorite players with the support of a long list of partnering companies ranging from global sports brands, banks, big brand healthcare companies and local TV stations. On Tuesday however,  it was time to celebrate as they hosted the annual Timbers Army Season Ticket Holder Barbecue at Providence Park, fans of all ages enjoyed a lovely warm evening with at Providence Park. The youngest were seeing playing soccer at will and both adults and kids, others took the penalty challenge, and many endured the lines to have the chance to get their favorite Timbers autographs and photos, or be part of a Q/A with Coach Porter, even play corn hole with their favorite stars.

We were there and brought some images of the evening.
