Photo Recap: Portland Thorns v Washington Spirit

0

Within five minutes, Hayley Raso put the Thorns up 1-0 against the Washington Spirit, in front of a huge home crowd at Providence Park. It would be the first of three goals for Portland, with both Sonnett and Sinclair also scoring. The Spirit would get on the board in the 68th with an impressive strike by Andi Sullivan, but it would turn out to be the last goal of the game.

The win keeps Portland at the top of the standings with the Spirit resting in seventh.
