SEATTLE, WA–OL Reign and Portland Thorns battled to a 1-1 draw at Lumen Field in their opening match in the NWSL Challenge Cup. Sofia Huerta got the goal for the Reign in the 18th minute before Christine Sinclair equalized ten minutes later for the Thorns.
