ATLANTA, GA–From Wednesday night’s action, Nic Firming rescued a point for Atlanta United in a 2-2 draw against New York City FC, who got two goals from Gabriel Pereira. This was NYCFC’s fourth successive draw and the Pigeons followed with a fifth successive draw in Portland on Saturday night while Atlanta were trounced 4-0 at New York Red Bulls which ended a seven-match unbeaten streak (2-0-5).
