New York Red Bulls 4- New York City FC 0

For the moment New York is Red.

Thanks to three very early goals the New York Red Bulls upended their hated rivals, New York City FC on Saturday at Red Bull Arena. In the first of two (possibly more depending on how things go) matches in the Hudson River  Derby the Red Bulls defeated NYCFC 4-0. Goals were scored by Kaku (2′), Florian Valot (4′), Bradley Wright-Phillips (35′), and Derrick Etienne Jr. (79′).

You can check out Michael Allen’s full recap of the match shortly. In the meantime please enjoy some of our photos from our newest member of the Prost Soccer team, Joe Misseri. Joe will be helping with our NYCFC coverage all season long and you can find him on Twitter @JM8999
