Vancouver Whitecaps 1-Toronto FC 1

Mr. Clutch comes through again. Through his time with D.C. United Nick DeLeon was known for delivering late results for his side, making key goals appear out of thin air. He did it again on Friday night this time for his new side: Toronto FC. DeLeon’s 90th minute strike was enough for The Reds to get the 1-1 result against the Vancouver Whitecaps in BC Place.

Fredy Montero put the Caps ahead with a goal in the 84th minute. But Toronto responded six minutes later with DeLeon’s chance zigging and zagging through a sea of defenders.

On hand to cover the match was Prost photographer Gerrit te Hennepe. You can check out more of his work on our SmugMug page.
