USMNT 1-Chile 1

The United States’ road to redemption continued to move forward on Tuesday night in the Lone Star state. Facing off against a Chile side in a similar disposition, the young Americans continued their stretch of positive form earning a 1-1  draw at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston.

Christian Pulisic put the United States up in just the fourth minute of the match, polishing off a pass from Gyasi Zardes in the fourth minute. But Chile responded promptly with a goal of their own off of a Oscar Opazo strike in the ninth minute. The two sides traded chances throughout the remainder of the match with neither team able to find the go-ahead goal. Goalkeeper Ethan Horvath faced the majority of the attacking chances, making two saves to salvage the draw.
