First win at Home for TFC

Toronto FC 2 – 1 DC United

Toronto, ON – The team of Bob Bradley earned a magnificent win at home, at the same time we could congratulate them on their first win at home in this 2022 season.

At the beginning of this match, the situation looked bad for the Reds, Canouse scored in the tenth minute pushing the Canadians to push forward and with the aim to equalize the action.

DC United was convinced they would win this match, but they never turned the switch on to get the 2nd goal.

In the 23rd minute, Alex Pozuelo, equalized the score and Luca Petrasso and Pozuelo were involved in creating the 50th goal for Jonathan Osorio to put TFC ahead for good.

For Mr Bradley, what was also important in this encounter was the return of the Mexican defender Carlos Salcedo after a suspension caused by his first red card as an MLS player.

After a disastrous 2021 season for TFC, they are still off to a bumpy start with two wins and two losses.  After four matches, they are still below the red line.  They need to make each match count, more balls through the arc and more points at the end of each matches.  Losing is no longer an option, nor a luxury.
