FC Dallas Player Ratings

0

Jesse Gonzalez – 8 – you dont play in goal for the winning team without coming up big, only a shutout would’ve been better, block 2 penalties you got some steel in your veins

Matt Hedges – 7 – kept the sounders from hiting dallas on the counter attack and doing damage

Zach Loyd – 6 – held up well during the 84 minutes that he was on, good thing he made way for Walker Zimmerman

Kellyn Acosta – 7 – did well to move the ball around, at 20 there is more to be expected from this player and not just in the rest of the playoffs

Ryan Hollingshead – 6 – did little bit of overlaping and worked hard but his real moment was scoring his penalty when the chance to take the lead was there for the taking

Mauro Diaz – 7 – converting the penalty and creating some opportunites for the attack up top, the former River Plate man was constantly creating to find the goal scoring opportunities for his teammates

Je-Vaughn Watson – 7 – the oldest starter in this lineup put in the effort that was needed from a vetran in defense

Victor Ulloa – 5 – hadnt performed as necessary and was pulled off for Tesho Akindele because of it, turned out to be the right move

David Texeira – 4 – again unable to create or have much of an impact against the Sounders, pulled for Blaz Perez

Michael Barrios – 8 – working hard up top and testing the resolve of the Seattle midfield and back line throughout the match

Fabian Castillo – 7 – play justified why Columbia called him up for the qualifiers in October, proved his DP salary by being a thorn to the Sounders

Subs

Walker Zimmerman – 8 – at age 22 still much to still see from this player, but scoring the goal to go into extra time and score the winning penalty off the bench deserves Man of the Match honors

Tesho Akindele – 8 – made penalty and scored the goal that nearly moved Dallas into the conference finals himself, should he play like that for Canada then Portland will have their hands full in two weeks time

Blaz Perez – 4 – lumbered around like a walking wardrobe, while at 34 he has the brains to be in the right place at the right time just didnt show up as expected
