PREFACE:  We are still an information service even though there is no soccer for a least the next several weeks we are here to provide the latest updates from each league as the world continues to deal with the coronavirus (COVID-19). We hope to do this on a weekly basis until soccer resumes.

“Our intent is to play as many games as we possibly can,” Garber said. “That means moving our regular season later into November, it means moving the MLS Cup back to mid-December and we’ve had that for many, many years.”

Garber also said that he is confident that the league can retain its playoff format of single elimination matches from last season which proved very popular.

NWSL:  The NWSL officially delayed the start of its regular season which was set for April 18th last Friday. The league it is continuing to follow the guidelines released by the Center for Disease Control (CDL). The training moratorium has been extended until at least April 5th.
