The Reds are back in the final. On Wednesday night at BMO Field Toronto FC left no doubt as to their Canadian Championship ambitions, putting three past the Ottawa Fury to advance to the final on a 4-0 aggregate.

Ayo Akinola gave TFC the lead with his goal in the 36th minute, his first for the senior side. Jordan Hamilton  (76′) and Marky Delgado (84′) each scored late in the second half to put things away for his side and give goalkeeper Clint Irwin a little bit of breathing room en route to the shutout.

Toronto FC will play the Vancouver Whitecaps in the final, a two-legged series that will begin on August 8th and end on August 15th. Exact times and order of venue has yet to be determined.
