Atlanta United 2 forward Jackson Conway celebrates his first professional goal against North Carolina FC at Fifth Third Bank Stadium In Kennesaw Georgia.

Possible Starting XI

  • GoalKeeper: With the first team in town, there is a good chance the first team keeper Alec Kann would be tending the goal. The duties have been split equally between the other two, so if Kann is not starting, it could be either Brendan Moore or Dylan Castanheira, who have both had some solid performances.
  • Defenders: We could see some more first-team players in the starting lineup on defense. Florentine Pogba is a candidate, he has already played in two matches and logged 116 minutes this season. Tyler Ruthven is available after a couple of weeks off fo injury, we likely to see him in at center back depending on his match fitness. We are likely to see Guillermo Benitez who has started every match so far this season. Jon Gallagher is likely to be the other full back in the four-man defensive backfield.
  • Midfielders: Veteran Jack Metcalf will anchor the middle as he has played every minute of every match so far this season. Academy player Will Vint has been seeing a lot of playing time as of late and earned his time with excellent play connecting the back line to the forwards. Anderson Asiedu has played all but one match and is likely to get the nod.
  • Forwards: Coach Stephen Glass looks to have his full complement of attacking players available.  We could see Andrew Carleton and Romario Willimas. We are very likely going to see Jackson Conway who has put in some excellent shifts on the front line and has worked hard. Luiz Fernando is another solid option he, has played in all the matches this.season.
