Atlanta United hosted the San Jose Earthquakes at Mercedes-Benz Stadium for an early Saturday afternoon match in front of 43,451 fans. Goals from Justin Meram, Emerson Hyndman and Pity Martinez lifted Atlanta United to a critical win that ensures that they would host at least one playoff match at home.
