Toronto, ON – Coming from behind, TFC gets the tie.

“Fighting until the end!”

Those were the words of Greg Vanney at the press conference after their match against Sporting KC.

In fact, apparently the team seems to resume its strength that once made them champion of the MLS.

This time, Jordan Hamilton was the firefighter who dressed as a hero in the extra time.

The Kansas team came out looking for the result that would take them back home with the 3 points, with two well executed penalties by Felipe Gutiérrez, on 25 and 73.

The Reds’ machinery reacted well to Vanney’s expectations, however Kansas deserved more, because it had superiority in terms of ball possession and some shots with some luck of goalkeeper Ontarian did not end in additional goals.

One thing the Red’s really need to work on is the multiple fouls in their last games.  This time around, they accumulated four yellow cards and this cannot continue.  They played without Pozuelo a few matches back, and this cannot happen with so much ahead to be able to head on up the table to ensure a place in the playoffs.

Sidenote.  TFC were sporting at the beginning of the match pride tops to commemorate this season’s pride night.
