Tacoma Stars 10-5 Empire Strykers

KENT, WA–After Tacoma took the lead three times in the first quarter, the Strykers would tie it each time in the first quarter. After that, it would be all Stars as they took their seventh straight match, 10-5, at the ShoWare Center while Empire would lose their seventh straight condemning them to a last place finish in the Western Conference. Alessandro Canale and Nani Mendoza each scored twice for the Stars.

The Stars are still in the hunt for the second seed in the West just one point behind Chihuahua. The Stars would need to have a result two points better in their final two matches than Chihuahua does. Chihuahua has a pair of home matches against Harrisburg on Friday and Saturday next week. Tacoma hosts San Diego on Saturday (7pm PT, Twitch) and then Empire once again on Easter Sunday (4pm PT, Twitch).
