After a 1-1 draw against Vancouver, Charlotte FC returns to Canada to take on Toronto FC.

Charlotte and Toronto are in similar positions, both having won a match and drawn a match in their first two under their new managers.

Charlotte put together a good performance in the previous match against Vancouver but missed a couple big chances and ultimately ended with a 1-1 draw.

Toronto was outplayed statistically by New England in their last match but was able to come away with three points with a 27th minute goal from Lorenzo Insigne that was voted as Goal of the Matchday. Toronto allowed New England to take 22 shots, six of them being on goal and conceded 11 corners but kept a clean sheet for their first win of the season.

Charlotte’s injury report remains the same as each of the previous weeks with Ben Bender, Brandt Bronico, Brandon Cambridge and Tyger Smalls out with injuries as well as Djibril Diana and new acquisition Liel Abada out due to them still having their visas being sorted out.

The match kicks off at 2:00 p.m. EST at BMO Field and streaming on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
